Acquired and established in 1972 by APi Group, Inc., Anco Products, Inc.
manufactures products that serve two diverse yet synergistic industries and
markets; flexible duct systems and insulation solutions.
Anco is an ISO 9001-certified manufacturer and all of its products bear the safety certification labels of Underwriters Laboratories. Annually, Anco reclaims several million pounds of waste filament fiber to manufacture it into insulation products. This process saves the energy used in the initial production of the fiber and provides a product that saves additional energy by limiting waste.
Anco continually seeks to improve its quality systems, safety, standards, and training, and as a result has won numerous quality and environmental awards.

Anco Products is a subsidiary of APi Group Inc; which proudly traces its
roots back to 1926 when A.P.I. Inc. was established as a small insulation
contracting and distribution division of the mechanical company Reuben L.
Anderson-Cherne. Lee R. Anderson became president of the family business in
1964. Under his leadership Anderson expanded operations in the Midwest region,
increasing revenues to approximately $30 million.
In 1980 Anderson launched a strategic initiative to diversify the company within the construction and construction-related industries. The company expanded into key markets, establishing both a national and international presence. Thus, the company became APi Group, Inc. in 1997.
Today, APi Group is the holding company for more than 32 independently managed companies reaching approximately 9,000 vibrant employees. With more than 150 locations, APi’s billion dollar success is based on one philosophy: Offer the finest customer-driven service by using common resources and shared experiences to build a safer environment.
