U.L. Listed System 400MC meets all requirements of the UL standard 181 for flexible Class 1 air duct in accordance with NFPA 90A & 90B and each section bears the UL listing mark (label.)
System 400MC is constructed with a solid aluminum core. A layer of fiberglass insulation and an outer vapor barrier of tear and abuse resistant reinforced metalized mylar film.
Fast installation, Compressed duct pulls open to desired length bends easily around obstacles with no turning fittings required.
Saddle type branch take offs can be located anywhere at the job site installers discretion. Can be cut into without loss of shape or integrity.
Easily altered, added to or repaired.
Trunk diameters can be reduced or divided by use of sheet metal or fiberglass fittings.
